This 12V self-priming diaphragm pump supplies fresh water from a tank to taps in a caravan or RV. It starts when a tap opens and stops when the taps are closed. Its internal bypass makes an accumulator unnecessary; do not connect one, as it interferes with the bypass.
Fit a strainer between the tank and pump inlet to keep debris out and meet the pump warranty requirement. Push the selected Quad fittings into the ports and lock their slide clips. At first start, open the taps until air has cleared, then close them to let the pump stop.
