CAMEC is the manufacturer of :
1) Australite windows, these were previously called Starlite
windows. 2) Slimline Windout windows.
3) Slimline Sliding windows.
CAMEC manufactures the Australite and Slimline Windows in Melbourne. Some retailers
refer to these as Aussie Traveller.
1) Australite Windows These are fixed to the outside of the RV wall and have been around in Australia since the early 1970's. The materials and appearance has evolved, however the size has stayed the same and all current parts will fit older windows.

Above: The opening in
your wall must be the same as the quoted size of the window. We
always express the height of windows first. This size provides
a slight tolerance for the insert of window trim mould on the
inside. (Search web site for 'Window Mould' )
These windows have radius corners of
70mm at the bottom. We do sell a plastic extrusion that can be
cut into small lengths to fill out the corner frame. (Search web
site for 'Window Mould')
These windows are fixed from the outside
of your RV. Common methods are Stainless steel screws or Rivets.
They require the addition of a seal between the window and the
outside wall. We recommend the application of an adhesive backed,
closed cell foam tape.
This is placed onto the back lip of the
window, set back a couple of mm's from the outside edge. The top
section of tape should be in one piece and extend to the very
ends. The width of the tape should be 12mm, and the thickness
depends on the surface profile. Eg. Flat surface requires 3mm
thick (min) and a profile of 9mm would require a minimum of 12mm
thick.
The distances above also show how far
the winder will intrude into the inside of your RV, based on the
external face of your wall.

2) Slimline Windout Windows These are clamped to the walls without any external exposed fixing.
